Jerry Lee Spradling, son of Gerald and Erma Faye Glamman Spradling, was born September 23, 1943 in Wayne, Michigan. He departed this life Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, seven months, and twenty-five days.

On November 22, 1978, Jerry was united in marriage to Sylvia Jean Cox, and together they shared the past thirty-eight years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janet Allgeyer; father in law Delmar Cox and sister law Nita Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia of the home; his children, Rebecca Long of St. Clair, Missouri; his son, Justin Spradling of St. Louis, Missouri; his step-daughter, Tina Renee Bollinger of Brighton, Illinois; his step-son Ronald E. Crosby and wife Christine of Jacksonville, Florida; six grandsons; one great-granddaughter; six great-grandsons; mother in law, Virgie Cox; sisters in law Helen Sikes, Midge Demeo and Linda Smith; brothers in law Murphy Johnson, Denver Cox and Dennis Cox as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

Jerry grew up in Arnold, Missouri where he attended school at Fox Arnold Seckman. Jerry had a special talent for making auto body repairs. He worked for a Chevrolet Dealership and then opened his own business, Jerry’s Auto Body in High Ridge, Missouri. He later worked for Enterprise Leasing in Ladue, Missouri.

He was a member of the Baptist Church in Arnold, Missouri.

Jerry was a member of the Elks, Midwest Brush Busters Off Road Club and Missouri Legends Poker Series. During his off road buggy days he was remembered for his first place win against “Big Foot” in a Mud Run. Jerry enjoyed the hours he played Texas Hold’em Poker with his many friends of which he was known to win games on a regular basis.

Jerry had a passion for life. He loved off road racing, hunting, fishing, auto body mechanic restoration and playing Texas Hold’em Poker; however, what Jerry loved the most was being with family and friends.

Jerry has blessed those close to him with many memories that they will treasure. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend and we celebrate his life.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
