Carolyn Sue Burns

Carolyn Sue Burns, daughter of Tona Ray and Ina Berniece Waters Heimbeaugh, was born, May 13, 1948 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, October 21, 2019, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy one years, five months and eight days. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orville Burns, brother, Jim Heimbeaugh, and brother-in-law, Mike DelMotte. She is survived by her children, Tom Heimbeaugh and wife Heather of Camdenton, Missouri, and Connie Johnston and fiancé Jesse Hecke of Lebanon, Missouri,; two granddaughters, Megan Heimbeaugh, Hannah Charlton, honorary grandson Joe Larocque,; two sisters, Ina Palmer and husband Floyd of Decaturville, Missouri and Kay DelMotte of Camdenton, Missouri,; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Carolyn was raised in Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School in the class of 1966. She had worked at Modine thirty plus years and had made many lifelong friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her granddaughters participate in their activities and going on road trips with them. She would make food for the guys at the shop and you could also see her every morning with her coffee group at McDonald's. She loved her four cats and going on picnics at the creek. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019 in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
