Connie Lynn Rush, daughter of Michael David and Ruth Connie McGuire Watt, was born April 29, 1970 in South Bend, Washington. She departed this life Friday, September 23, 2011 in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of forty-one years, four months, and twenty-four days. Connie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Addy Watt; her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Leona McGuire; her mother-in-law, Donna McGuire; and Brittany and Austin's father, Hardney Rush. She is survived by her husband, Tommy McGuire of the home; their daughter, Ivy Rush; her children, Brittany, Austin Rush; her parents, Michael and Ruth Watt, of Camdenton, Missouri; her sister, Kim Thyng of Camdenton, Missouri; her paternal grandmother, Edna Watt of South Bend, Washington; her nephews, Jonathan Thyng and wife Sarah, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Curtis Thyng and wife Miranda of Laurie, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Connie was born in Washington and moved with her family to Minnesota at the age of five. She attended a private school at the Christian Academy for several years before moving to Camdenton to make her home. It was in Camdenton that Connie met the love of her life, Tommy, and lovingly raised her family. Connie enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family and friends, as well as with her Yorkie, "Krickey Boy," who held a special place in her heart. She also loved to play bingo on Friday nights at the VFW post in Camdenton. Connie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt. Although her time here with us was short, the memories she leaves us will live on forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Mount Horeb Cemetery, Decaturville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a fund to assist Connie's children and can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
