CYNTHIA BRATTON Cynthia Yvonne Bratton, daughter of Allan Leonard and Dorothy Mae Sellon DeMint, was born, July 23, 1953 in Lexington, Missouri. She departed this life, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in Lakeside Meadows, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years, eleven months and five days. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Dennis DeMint. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Bratton and companion Kevin Williams of Lebanon, Missouri; a grandson, Shawn Cochran of Lebanon, Missouri; her father, Allan DeMint of Camdenton, Missouri and other relatives and many friends. Cynthia was raised in Lexington, Missouri and graduated from High School there. In 1975, the family moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. She worked for Casey's General Store and Wal-Mart before beginning a career with Modine. She worked as a welder for Modine for twenty-seven years until her health forced her to retire. Cynthia made a profession of faith and followed the Methodist faith. In her spare time, she was learning how to fly an airplane and attended many fly-ins in the area. She enjoyed going to tractor pulls with her dad. Family was the most important part of Cynthia's life. She cared for her father when he became ill. Spending time with her daughter always brought her joy. Most of all, her grandson Shawn was the apple of her eye. She always called him 'Maw Maws little man." She was a loving mom, maw maw and daughter and was a caring neighbor and friend. Her memory will linger on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 in Lexington Memory Gardens, Lexington, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements
