David "Eddie" Arnold

David Edgar “Eddie” Arnold, son of David and Peggy (Burns) Arnold, was born November 27, 1956 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, May 4, 2023 in his home at the age of sixty-six years, five months, and seven days.


On June 22, 2019, Eddie was united in marriage to Lisa Boyert.


Eddie was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Skyler Jones; a cousin who was like a sister, Angela Burns; as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.


He is survived by his wife, Lisa of the home; his daughters, Shannon Jones and husband Clemet of Eldridge, Missouri, and Stacie Jones and husband Steve, of Macks Creek, Missouri; his step-schildren, Charli Mann & family of Overland Park, Kansas, Josh Boyert & family of El Paso, Illinois; his grandchildren, Casey Jones and wife Haley, Calyssa, Daisy, Tyle, Audrie, Cora, and Eliza; two great-grandchildren, Adelynn and Henry Buck; his parents, David and Peggy Arnold, of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Stephen Arnold and wife Sharon, of Camdenton, Missouri; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.


Eddie was born in Lebanon and in 1964 moved with his family to Colona, Illinois. In 1975 Eddie moved back to Lebanon. He spent his working years as a carpenter and owned and operated a concrete pump company for many years. Following his retirement, Eddie worked on his daughter’s farm and enjoyed the time spent working there.


He was saved and baptized at an early age and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colona, Illinois.


In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed listening to music, going to rodeos, and driving his antique and classic cars. He was a member of numerous car clubs throughout the area. Eddie also enjoyed playing poker with his friends.


Eddie was a loving husband, son, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, May 8, 2023 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Eddie Arnold Benefit Fund through the funeral home at 15 Clint Ave Camdenton, MO 65020.


Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
