MADELINE WEBB Madeline Margaret Webb, daughter of Delbert L. and Jettie McCarty Williams, was born November 1, 1920 in Southeast Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, December 4, 2008 in her daughter's home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years, one month and three days. She was united in marriage to Kelly Elsworth Edwards on April 29, 1939 and to this union five children were born. In 1987, she was united in marriage to Howard Webb. Both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Barbara Burns; four grandchildren, Kevin, Rick and Shawn Burns and Bruce Wallander; three great-great-grandchildren, Abby Edwards, Alma Beaman and Faith McKennon; a sister, Eudella Williams and three brothers, James, Delbert "Pete" and Jesse "Ick" Williams. Survivors include two daughters, Janice McGuire and husband Gene and Carol Beaman; two sons, Kelly Edwards and wife Kim and Brad Edwards and wife Chris all of Camdenton, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herschel, Jack, Gilbert and Frank Williams all of the Kansas City and Blue Springs, Missouri area and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Madeline was raised in Southeast Missouri near the towns of Naylor and Poplar Bluff. As a young girl the family moved to Camden County. She lived in Kansas City for a time and returned to Camdenton where she lived the rest of her life. She worked as a seamstress and was a cook at several restaurants. She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church and was always willing to help in any way she could. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time, visiting and cooking for them. She also enjoyed sewing and music. Everywhere she lived, she always had a beautiful flower garden. Madeline was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. She touched many lives and left many wonderful memories for her family and friends to cherish. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2008 in Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Saturday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Child Advocacy Center and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
