Monica Anne Hogan Monica passed away on April 21, 2022 at her home in Sunrise Beach, Missouri. She donated her body to science and will be cremated at a later date. Monica will have aprivate burial at Saint Patrick Emerald in Williamsburg, Kansas. Monica was born in Naperville, Illinois on March 1st, 1956. She was adopted by her father and mother, Bernard and Garnett Rechenmacher. Monica grew up with her adopted siblings, Betsy Amundson and Steven Rechenmacher. She lived and worked in Naperville, where she met John Hogan. They married on May 14th, 1977. Monica and John moved to Saint Joseph, Missouri where they raised two sons, Ryan and Michael Hogan. Monica retired to Sunrise Beach, Missouri with John before his passing in 2010. Monica loved to cross-stitch and spend time with friends, family, and dog Yogi. Monica is survived by her son Michael (Lesley) Hogan. Sisters Donna McKeown and Marie Lilly. Brothers Carl (Donna) Tauberman and Chuck Tauberman. Monica is also survived by her many brother and sister-in-law’s on the Hogan side. Monica has many nieces, nephews, and cousins from both sides of her family and from the Hogan family. Monica is preceded in death by spouse John Hogan, son Ryan Hogan, sister Betsy Amundson, brother Steven Rechenmacher, mother Garnett Rechenmacher, father Bernard Rechenmacher, and mother Marilyn Patterson. The family suggests memorial donations to Knox Estates Group Home, PO Box 706, Streator, Ill., 61364, where her sister Betsy resided. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
