Roy Allen Heimbeaugh

Roy Allen Heimbeaugh, son of James Floyd “J.F.” and Lillie May Meads Heimbeaugh, was born, November 29, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life, Thursday morning August 15, 2019, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-five years, eight months and seventeen days. On February 16, 1980 in he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Tamara Lynn Blair and to this union two sons were born. Together they shared thirty-nine years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles “Sonny” Heimbeaugh and his mother-in-law, Ima Jean “Pete” Blair. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Heimbeaugh of the home; two sons, Chris Heimbeaugh and wife Stephanie and Mike Heimbeaugh and wife Korrin all of Camdenton, Missouri; grandson, Hunter Heimbeaugh; a granddaughter, Caitlin Cone; his sister, Wanda Eidson of Macks Creek, Missouri; his father-in-law, Denzil Blair of Camdenton, Missouri; his brother-in-law, Tronnie C. Blair and wife Earlene of Camdenton, Missouri; his sisters-in-law, Thalia Porter and husband Barney of Camdenton, Missouri and Martha Heimbeaugh of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. As a young child his family moved to Camdenton where he attended Camdenton School and graduated in the class of 1972. He worked in construction for a few years and then started his career at Department of Natural Resources in May of 1983 and worked until his retirement in October of 2018. He was responsible for many of the trails and boardwalks in the state parks in Missouri. He took great pride in doing the construction of the overlooks and other projects in his hometown state park, Ha Ha Tonka. Roy thoroughly enjoyed his job and the people that he worked with. Roy was saved as a young man and baptized by Reverend Don Willis. He currently attended New Home Baptist Church. Roy helped coach Little league baseball for twelve years with both of his boys and enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. He watched the Hallmark Christmas movies in July, could be found at the Saturday morning breakfast crowd at RJ’s Restaurant and volunteering at LAMB house with Oscar, Trish, Kerry and the gang. In his spare time Roy loved fishing. He had recently gone fishing at Lake Fork, Texas in April with his friends and could be often be found at the fishing camp with his buddies. The time he treasured most was spoiling his grandchildren and spending time with family and many dear friends. Roy was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. He has blessed so many with that mischievous smile and his caring nature. We were all blessed with the many wonderful memories that we will always treasure. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m., - 7:00 p.m. Monday evening in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
