ADAM LOONEY Adam Leroy Looney, son of Luther Alvin and Judy Kathryn Hubbard Looney, was born, March 21, 1985 in Osage Beach, Missouri. He departed this life, Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in his home, Axtell, Texas at the age of twenty-nine years, five months and five days. He was united in marriage to Savannah Narron in 2006 and they remained married for over five years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harrison and Velva Looney; and his maternal grandfather, Norman L. Hubbard. Survivors include his parents, Alvin and Judy Looney of Camdenton, Missouri; siblings, Sandy Fanning and husband Leonard of Jamestown, Ohio, Charlie Looney of Waco, Texas, Penny Brennan of Jamestown, Ohio, Sally Brooks and husband Geoff of Axtell, Texas and Katy Looney of Albany, New York; his maternal grandmother, Betty Hubbard of Hardin, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Kris, Dean, Breanna, Ruby, and Ray; a great-nephew, Braylon; two uncles, Glenn Looney and wife Linda and Kenny Looney and wife Sharon as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Adam was raised in Camdenton and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the Class of 2003.While in school; Adam was involved with the Vo-Tech doing Metal Technician training He received his Associates of Arts in Metal Engineering from Ozarks Technical Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, serving two tours of duty in Iraq. Following his honorable discharge, Adam moved back to Camdenton and worked as a Metal Technician. He moved to Texas in January of 2014 and worked as a general contractor with his brother-in-law. Adam made a profession of faith and was a member of Myetta Missionary Baptist Church in Camdenton. In his spare time, Adam enjoyed woodworking and was especially talented at wood engraving. He was an avid deer hunter and loved to be outdoors. Going horseback riding was also one of his favorite things to do. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and nephew and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2014 in Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Decaturville. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday in Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
