Alexia “Penny” Carlene Jeffries-Brady, the ninth child of the late Alex Carl & Adeline McCord (Green) Jeffries, was born on May 4, 1965 and departed this life on August 30, 2025. At the time of her passing, Penny was sixty years, three months and twenty-six days of age.
Penny was preceded in passing by her parents; six siblings Larry Jeffries, Kenny Jeffries, Lenny Jeffries, Robert Jeffries and Phyllis Quillen; and one brother & sister-in-law, Michael & wife Madonna Brady.
Penny is survived by her husband Glen Brady; two step children, Kristen and Mandy Brady; and three siblings, Patricia Odom, Pamala & husband Larry Denny, and Buddy Jeffries. In her passing, Penny also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.
Penny was born in Waynesville, Missouri and raised on the farm in Montreal, Missouri. Penny attended Camdenton High School and was a graduate in the class of 1983. Following her high school graduation, she attended SMS University and would graduate with her Master’s Degree in the class of 1989.
Throughout her working years, she worked at the Holiday Inn while in college; then she would move to Nashville, Tennessee before returning home to work for Detroit Tool, where she would work for fifteen plus years. After her career at Detroit Tool, she began working for Professional Services until her health no longer allowed her to.
On June 11, 2000, in Richland, Missouri, Penny would be united in marriage to Glen Brady, together sharing twenty-five wonderful years of marriage.
In her spare time, Penny enjoyed going thrifting (looking for items for their garden and honey bee items), caring for her cats, and spending time with her friends and family.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 4, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow the service at Freedom Cemetery in Montreal, Missouri. A visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
