Ava Grace Wolfe, daughter of Josh and Brooke (Skinner) Wolfe, was born August 9, 2005, in Osage Beach, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of nineteen years, six months and twelve days.
Ava was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Jane Wolfe; two uncles, Jim Hawkins and Thomas M. Wolfe; and an aunt, Tara Wolfe.
She is survived by her parents, Josh and Brooke Wolfe of Climax Springs, Missouri; her siblings, Abigale Smith and husband Cole and Cooper Wolfe; her maternal grandparents Brad and D’Ann Hawkins of Urbana, Missouri; her paternal grandfather Tom Wolfe of Climax Springs, Missouri; her aunts and uncles, Casey and Zach Cox, John and Jill Wolfe, Jason and Jennifer Cline and Rhonda Wolfe; her four legged companions, Arlo and Stella; as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Ava spent her life in Climax Springs and graduated as Valedictorian of Climax Springs High School in the Class of 2024. Ava was very involved in many activities while in school. She played Basketball where she was named All-District and earned numerous All-Tournament Team awards. She was President of National Honor Society, Vice President of Student Council and served as Yearbook Editor. Ava also graduated high school with twenty-seven college credit hours. She was currently attending Missouri State University where she was majoring in Elementary Education and most recently was wanting to minor in ASL.
Ava had a knack for working with children and was recently employed by the Climax Springs School District as a Para-Professional. Ava, along with Jayden, was also recently been helping to coach the middle school girls traveling team.
Ava had a close relationship with God and was saved as a child at Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church.
In her spare time, Ava enjoyed reading, doing artwork and was always down for a family game night or movie with the girls. She also loved music, dancing, singing karaoke and was known for her great sense of humor. Her smile and laugh were infectious, and she had an uncanny ability to light up any room she entered. Everyone who knew Ava adored her. She loved her family dearly and her brother and sister were her best friends.
Although her time on Earth with us was short, Ava will live on with us forever through the stories and memories shared of her. We celebrate her life, her accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church in Roach, Missouri. Burial will follow in Granger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time-of-service Saturday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Climax Springs Booster Club in care of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home at 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
There will be a shuttle bus provided to transport individuals from the Southwest Electric Co-Op building at the junction of J & 7 Highway.
