Bertha was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Eldridge, Missouri where she sang and dearly loved her Church family.

In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery, making lap quilts and fabric wreaths and cooking. Bertha was a great cook whose cheese balls were always a hit at Christmas time and her chicken and noodles was legendary. Most of all, she loved helping anyone in need.
