Billie Yvonne Wilson, daughter of Bob and Agnes Blankenship, was born February 27, 1934, in Passover, Missouri. She departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of ninety-two years, one month, and twenty-five days.
On June 1970, Billie was united in marriage to Gary Wilson, and together they shared fifty-five wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Blaine “Biff” Hewes; three sisters, including two who passed in infancy and Bobby Fleming; and two brothers-in-law, Bobby Fleming and Leo Marler, Sr.
Billie is survived by her loving husband, Gary Wilson, of the home; two daughters, Crys Price and Yvette Aldrich; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Virgie Marler; one brother, James Blankenship and his wife, Paula; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Billie accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age and was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she attended the Joy Sunday School Class.
She grew up in the Camdenton area and graduated from Camdenton High School with the Class of 1951. She attended Central Missouri State University for two years and taught school for one year. Billie later partnered with her husband, Gary, in operating McDonald’s restaurants in Oklahoma, Alaska, and Arkansas. Following their retirement, they made their home in the Kansas City area, where they enjoyed time with family and friends and lovingly spoiled their dogs.
Billie will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, as well as a caring neighbor and friend. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced as soon as they become available. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
