Bradley Stubbs

Bradley Jay Stubbs, son of the late Walter Stubbs & Sarah (Smith) Uptegrove, was born on December 14, 1963 and departed this life on October 19, 2025. At the time of his passing, Bradley was sixty-one years, ten months and five days of age.

Bradley was preceded in passing by his parents; step-father, Kenny Uptegrove; son, Matthew Johnson; and stepbrother-in-law, Joe Johnson.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Judie Stubbs; one daughter, Ashley & husband Alec Vemmer; five step children, Mike & wife Sonia Johnson, Jackie & husband Russ Arnott, Jason & wife Annette Johnson, Jeremy & wife Ann Lakey and Melissa Phillips; two grandchildren, Emerson & Emmett Vemmer; thirteen step-grandchildren; and two siblings, Teresa Johnson and Paul Uptegrove. In his passing, Bradley also leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss him.

Bradley was born in West Plains, Missouri before moving to Independence and later Blue Springs, Missouri where he would attend and graduate from high school in the class of 1982. Following his high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country for three years. He would then return home and begin his career in contracting.

On June 24, 2011, Bradley was united in marriage to Judie Fleming in Independence, Missouri. Throughout their time together, they enjoyed coming to Lake of the Ozarks and enjoying all the lake has to offer. In 2013, they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, where they would reside until his passing.

In his spare time, he loved to play pool, listen to music (Especially Old Country and Classic Rock), dance and play darts. Bradley also loved to be on his motorcycle, partaking in various rides across the country, most significantly his ride that would touch all 48 states. He was a social butterfly and never knew a stranger, making friends with just about everyone he knew.

Bradley made a profession of Christian faith throughout his life, especially his motorcycle ministry.
