Brenda Kay Smith

. Brenda was born June 30, 1956 in Mineral Wells, to Jack and Barbara Harklerode. She was a 1974 graduate of Mineral Wells High School. Brenda dedicated her life to taking care of others working as a nurse. Brenda is survived by her children, Rebecca (Doug) Bachlott of Rockville, MD, Bryan (Barbara) Smith of Camdenton, MO, and Shannon (Adrian) Mendoza of Montgomery Village,MD, her sister Jana (Mark) Adams of Denton, TX, and her 8 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to one of the following charities: Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
