Brenda Carroll Littrell

Brenda Carroll Littrell, daughter of Archie W. Street and Lorene E. (Kinsey) Street, was born on August 19, 1942 in Gideon, Missouri. She departed this life on June 8, 2025, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri. At the time of her passing, Branda was eighty-two years, nine months and twenty days of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald E. Littrell; husband, Ronald L. Littrell; and two sisters, Barbara and Nancy.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Dan) Hanks; Special children, Annette (John) Shafer and Tom (Shelby) Foster; four siblings, Mike (Robbie) Street, Vicki (Rick) Dorchincez, Dennis (Sherrie) Street and Donna Street; two sisters-in-law, Dean Brown and Kathy Littrell; one granddaughter, Emily (Travis) Franklin; and two great-grandchildren, Henry Franklin and Sadie Franklin. In her passing, Branda leaves behind nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will truly miss her.

Brenda was raised in Southeast Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri, attending Wellston School District. On December 19, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Ronald L. Littrell and to this union, two children were born. Ron and Brenda would later move to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1977, where Brenda would be a co-owner of Buck’s Dock. She would then work as a date entry operator for James A. Frick and Lake Regional Hospital; Brenda also worked as a CSM for K-Mart and Wal-Mart.

Brenda made a profession of Christian faith and was a charter member of New Beginnings Church in Camdenton, Missouri.

In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed gardening, reading, playing computer games and crocheting. Above all, she truly cherished the time spent with her children, granddaughter and was honored to be GiGi to her great-grandchildren, Henry and Sadie.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
