Brit Desmond Bledsoe, son of Lee Allen and Stacia Rae (Huish) Bledsoe, was born October 24, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his home, at the age of forty-six years, six months, and one day.
On April 18, 2009, Brit was united in marriage to Ashley Elizabeth Frye, and to this union two daughters were born.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; a brother, Gary Bledsoe; a nephew, Mark Bledsoe; and his canine companion, M.J.
Brit is survived by his loving wife, Ashley, of the home; two daughters, Audrey and Brookelynn Bledsoe; his parents, Lee Allen and Stacia Bledsoe; two sisters, Shari Greenwood and husband Gil, and Krystal Bledsoe; one brother, Eric Bledsoe; a niece, Jessica Greenwood; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Brit was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Following his graduation from high school, he began his career as an electrician. He was highly skilled in his trade and took great pride in his work, having developed his abilities from an early age. He was also a member of the Carpenter’s Union in St. Louis, Missouri.
Brit was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan. On Sundays, you could always find him cheering on his team wherever he was. He especially loved Christmas and took great joy in creating a winter wonderland in his front yard each year for family and friends to enjoy.
In his spare time, Brit enjoyed golfing, collecting and selling Chiefs memorabilia, and spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Maverick.
Brit will be remembered for his sense of humor, his generous spirit, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His love for his family and his passion for life will not be forgotten.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his daughters’ education fund. The family kindly requests that those attending the visitation wear Kansas City Chiefs attire in honor of Brit.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
