Daniel Gourley, son of Thomas Gourley and Jo Anne Gourley, was born on August 22, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life on February 24, 2026, in Camdenton Windsor Estates. At the time of his passing, he was seventy years, six months and two days of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Gourley; sister, Brenda Gourley; longtime partner, Andrea Nowkowski; and best friend, Dude.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Gourley and wife Mary of Camdenton, Missouri, Brad Gourley of Manteno, Illinois, and Ryan Corrigan of Marysville, Washington; grandchildren, Ryder Gourley, Knox Gourley, Harper Gourley, Jax Corrigan, Harper Corrigan, Summer Gourley, Carter Gourley, Katelyn Gourley, Autumn Gourley, and Megan Gourley.
Daniel was raised in Manteno, Illinois where he graduated high school, he then went on to attend trade school. Following his time in trade school, Daniel had to opportunity to buy into the MAACO Franchise and would remain with this company until his retirement.
In his spare time Daniel enjoyed playing golf, softball, tinkering on small engines, and playing guitar; he had a great love of music, and was a self-proclaimed inventor.
What many will remember him by was his charisma. Daniel was very approachable, fun loving and above all, loved caring for and spending time with his children and family.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., March 21, 2026, at 607 Tunnel Camp Rd Camdenton, Missouri.
