Edwin Loyd Putnam, son of the late Ernest & Peggy (Jaycox) Putnam, was born on October 23, 1963 and he departed this life on April 27, 2026. At the time of his passing, Ed (EZ) was sixty-two years, six months and four days of age.
Ed was preceded in passing by his parents; and wife, Leigh Putnam.
He is survived by his two sisters, Cindy Flowers & fiancé David Bird and Jackie Phillips; two children, E.J Grant and Alexis Putnam; two aunts, Linda Garrett and Debbie Cooper; and his four-legged companion, Harley. In his passing, Ed also leaves behind a host of many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Ed was born in St. Louis, Missouri but raised and attended school in St. Charles, Missouri. Following his schooling he began working with the Carpenter’s Union with his father, where he proudly worked for nearly a decade. He would then follow his heart and became an over the road truck driver, driving for various trucking companies throughout his career. Proceeding with his career, he worked with several different family members with their glass companies.
In his spare time, he truly enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his friends at the bar, singing karaoke, fishing (never to miss a good fish fry). Above all, he truly loved to spend time with his family and friends playing poker & gambling, wherever and whenever they could get together.
