Ernest "Red" Wilson

Ernest Lee “Red” Wilson, son of Durwood and Stirla Ann Heimbeaugh Wilson, was born August 25, 1968 in Columbia, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of forty-eight years, nine months, and twenty-four days. His mother preceded Red in death. Red is survived by his father, Durwood Wilson, of Stover, Missouri; a brother, Leonard Wilson, of Columbia, Missouri; two nephews, Samuel and Jr.; and the love of his life, Nicole Peterson, of Montreal, Missouri; as well as a number of other relatives and many dear friends. Red was a graduate of Eldon High School and spent his life working at various jobs throughout his life. He had accepted Christ at an early age. He was a skilled pool player and spent many years playing in various leagues at Marty’s. In his spare time, Red enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an excellent cook and never met a stranger. Time spent with his family and friends was something that he truly cherished. Red was a loving son and brother, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Roach Union Electric Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
