Gerald Rexford Bates, son of the late Gerald & Flossie (Phillips) Bates, was born on January 1, 1930 and departed this life on November 27, 2025. Gerald was born in Alton, Illinois and would later enlist and proudly serve his country in the United States Army.
In his passing, Gerald leaves behind three children; and many friends & other family members who will all truly miss him.
