Gerald was raised in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated high school before entering the United States Army where he proudly served his country in the Korean War. After serving his military time he and his parents relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks. His parents purchased, and operated the “Hook n Hunt” lake resort where Gerald would work in maintenance for the resort for several year until his parents sold it to retire. Gerald had began doing a fishing guide service out of his parents’ resort and continued to do so after his parents retired. Gerald would be a guide for many years until retiring.
Gerald made a profession of faith and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church which was his cornerstone of faith and values his entire adult life.
In his spare time Gerald loved fishing and did it just as often and anyone could. Later in life when he wasn’t very active you could always find him watching his westerns.
He was a loving and a caring father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
