Guy Edward Jackson, age 68, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on September 17, 2026. Born March 3, 1958, to Edward Lee Jackson and Myrna Grace Jackson (Frohoff) in Redfield, South Dakota, Guy lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, ingenuity, and devotion to family.

While he held many professions throughout his life, Guy’s latter career days were spent working in marine services as a Boat Lift Installer and Maintenance Technician for Econo Lift, a profession well suited to his mechanical talents and love for the Lake of the Ozarks.

In his retirement, Guy enjoyed fishing, collecting, and spending time with family. Those who knew him understood he expressed love through action. He was the man who could fix anything and he never failed to show up for those who needed him; day or night, rain or shine. The lessons he taught, the skills he shared, and the memories he created will continue to live on through those who loved him. He will forever be remembered for his resourcefulness, sense of humor, love for feeding others, and his constant willingness to help without expecting anything in return.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Myrna; his sister, Patricia Ann Jackson; and his former stepson, Christopher Albertie.

He is survived by his siblings, Sharon (Stephen) Dodson of Missouri, Veda Obermann of South Dakota, Barbara (Allen) Quiram of South Dakota, and Steven Frohoff of Delaware. His sons, David (Jena) Hollister and Christopher (Cynthia) Hollister, both of Colorado; Seth Hollister of Arkansas; and Edward (Brittney) Jackson of Montana. Through his marriage to Joy Lynn Jackson; Guy leaves behind his stepchildren; Crystal (Jeremy) Wilson of Missouri, Aaron (Christina) Loftis of Arkansas, Shana Hayes of Missouri, Austin (Jessica) Rogers of Missouri, and Charity Cronin of Missouri. Through prior marriages, his stepson Joshua Brown of South Dakota, and stepdaughters, Jacquie Brown of Iowa and Annie Albertie of Colorado.

Guy further leaves behind his beloved granddaughters, Matty Hayes and Jewel Cumper, both of Missouri, whom he raised as his own and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, friends, neighbors, and all those who were touched by his life. He will be greatly missed.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25:40)
