Jackie Lee Jeffries, son of Malcom Estel and Martha Ellen “Frances” (Frederick) Jeffries, was born February 9, 1944, in Montreal, Missouri. He departed this life October 26, 2025, in his home in Walnut Grove, Missouri, at the age of eighty-one years, eight months, and seventeen days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Betty Jean (Jeffries) Morgan and Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Jeffries.
Jackie is survived by his son, James Lee Jeffries, and wife Kara; grandchildren, Sean, Jaden, and Kaytlyn; brother, Donnie Mitchel Jeffries and wife Elata “Joann” (Charlton) Jeffries; half siblings, Brian Jeffries, Lorraine (Jeffries) Schweke and her son Austin, and Laurie (Jeffries) Bishop, and their families; niece, Karen (Jeffries) North and family; special niece Diana (Jeffries) Johnson and husband Doug Johnson and their family who Jack embraced as “his kids” and were his caretakers for the last several years; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was born on the family farm and raised in the Camden County, Missouri area.
Jackie proudly served in both the United States Air Force and United Sates Navy during Vietnam. He was a very active Lifetime Member and Charter Member of AMVETS Post 188 in Willard, Missouri, and a former member of American Legion Post 639 in Springfield, Missouri.
In his spare time, Jackie came to love cars and automobilia. His prize possession was a beautiful 1972 El Camino that he restored himself.
He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri, beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Montreal Cemetery. Visitation will be the evening before the Service from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to AMVETS Post 188 and left at the funeral home.
