James Frank Buck

James Frank Buck, age 84, of Huntington Beach, California, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025.

Jim was born on November 29, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He raised his family in Southern California. He was a beloved father, husband, and grandfather known for his kindness in helping others, sense of humor, and strong work ethic. He spent his career working at Yokohama Tires and enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, watching the Chiefs, and spending time with family.

He is survived by two sons, Tracy Buck and Cameron Buck; daughters-in-law, Christina Knezevic and Christina Buck; grandchildren, Chandler Buck and Isabella Buck; sister, Linda Buck Montgomery; and brother-in-law, Tim Montgomery. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Lowell Wisdom Buck; his mother, Pauline Buck; his wife, Linda Buck; and his brother, Donald Lowell Buck.

A graveside memorial service will be held on August 1, 2025 at Climax Springs Cemetery, Drennon Chapel Road, Climax Springs, Missouri, with service beginning at the grave site at 11:00 am. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
