Jeffery Bruce Jarvis

JEFFERY BRUCE JARVIS Jeffery Bruce Jarvis, age 61, departed this life on June 13, 2015 at his home of Lebanon, Missouri with his true love by his side. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Bay and his son-in-law, Paul Coverdale. Jeff is survived by many family and loved ones, including: the love of his life, Denise Ferguson, of Lebanon, Missouri - along with her daughters, Victoria Delamar, of Virginia Beach, Virginia (and her children - Aiden and Faith) and Megan Jackson, of Lebanon, Missouri (along with her husband Ben and her children, Kaylynn and Benjamin Junior). Jeff is survived by his family, including: his father and mother, Ronald Bruce and Ina Jarvis of Pevely, Missouri; his son, Joshua Bruce Jarvis (along with his wife Gina Jarvis and their children, Michael and Penny) of Saint Charles, Missouri; his daughter, Jennifer Coverdale (along with her daughters: Mackenzie, Emma, Kiera and Kylie) of Mascoutah, Illinois; his brother, Rick Jarvis (along with his wife Penny and their children, Samantha and Jake) of Pevely, Missouri; his sister, Kerry Jarvis of Pevely, Missouri (along with her children, Emily and Andrew and her five grandchildren); his sister Jena Green (along with her children, Michael and Kristin) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his nephew, Joe Bay; his niece, Elizabeth Bay of Desoto, Missouri and multiple other family members and friends. Jeff was born in Tampa, Florida on December 31, 1953 while his father was serving active duty in the United States Air Force. Jeff followed in his father's footsteps, joining the United States Air Force in 1972. While there, Jeff received his training as a Dental Laboratory Specialist. Jeff helped make millions of smiles during his 43 year career in the dental industry. He opened his own business in 2014, the Jarvis Dental Lab, in Lebanon, Missouri. He was a master craftsman in the art of making dentures, partials and other dental appliances. He was so dedicated to making the perfect smile that he even worked on the same day he was first hospitalized for the illness that eventually took his life. Jeff was a member of the Viking at the Nex-Door Bar and Grill for almost 20 years. On Friday that was his favorite place to hang out. Jeff also had acting roles in several movies, including: Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Escape from New York and a few others. On his acting experiences, he said he left a hundred dollar a day job to make twenty five and had the time of his life. Jeff was so proud of his children and their accomplishments. He told everyone he met about them. He shared his children and grandchildren with Denise Ferguson for 13 years. Between them, 4 children and 10 grandchildren visited their home in Lebanon, Missouri to fill it with laughter and love. Jeff lived his life with gusto. He always had a song to sing, whether he was riding: horses, the lawn mower, his motorcycle, tractor or in his truck. He told us "my goal is to spread happiness around me by making others smile". The heavens are smiling bright on your soul now Jeff. We will miss you.
