Joyce Elaine Green, daughter of the late Orville and Dorothy (Bright) Haines, was born on February 24, 1939 and departed this life on August 7, 2026. At the time of her passing, Joyce was eighty-seven years, five months and fourteen days of age.

Joyce was preceded in passing by her parents; and son-in-law, Dan McClelland.

She is survived by her husband Earl Mac Green; four children, Stan & wife Annette Green of Roach, Missouri, Brenda McClelland and partner Ken Moore of Springfield, Missouri, Darla & husband Mark Shramek of Middletown, Missouri and Beth & husband Kale Miller of Buell, Missouri; sister, Jean Bauer Rush; eight grandchildren, Kevin Shramek, Mac Green & fiancé Rachelle, Morgan & husband Rodger Fry, Laura Green & husband Brett, Brooks Green & wife Ally, Paige & husband Noah Hillebrand, Eric Saak & fiancé Harlee and Mariah Miller; six great-grandchildren, Barrett Fry, Sutton Fry, Avalon Green, Bailey Hillebrand, Camden Fry and Jordan Hillebrand. In her passing, Joyce also leaves behind many friends and family who will all truly miss her.

Joyce was born in Liberty, Missouri and at an early age moved to various places before the family settled in Camdenton, Missouri; later graduating from Camdenton High School in the class of 1957. Following her graduation she would attend Southwest Baptist University.

On May 31, 1958, at First Baptist Church, in Camdenton, Missouri, Joyce was united in marriage by her father, Rev. Orville Haines, to Earl Green; together they would share sixty-eight years of marriage.

After she finished her schooling, she was a homemaker and later began her ten year career for Southwestern Bell. Throughout Earl’s career in education, Joyce was always by his side, supporting him in his various school activities and property development at Lake of the Ozarks.

In her spare time, Joyce loved to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, admiring her flower garden, reading and baking all her grandchildren’s favorite desserts.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2026 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m., in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Big Niangua Cemetery, Roach, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
