Kathleen 'Kathy' Cady

KATHY CADY Kathleen Marilyn Cady, daughter of Richard Jackson and Antoinette Ruth Moselle Thomspon, was born, November 13, 1950 in Orange County, California. She departed this life, Wednesday, August 27, 2014, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, nine months and fourteen days. On August 12, 1992 in Laurie, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Warren Eugene Cady, Jr. Together they shared twenty-two years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Warren Cady of the home; three children, Shelia McCormack and husband Wayne of Anacoco, Louisiana, Bryan Netz and wife Jennifer of Leesville, Louisiana and Melissa Lawhead and husband Michael of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Matthew McCormack and wife Kandice, JaNae McCormack, Emma Cole and husband Trent, Cameron Netz and wife Arial, Blake Netz, Mason Netz, Ethan Lawhead, Joshua Lawhead and Addison Lawhead.; three great-grandchildren, Liam, Brantley and Makayla; a brother, Kim Thompson of Maui, Hawaii and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kathy had lived in various places as a child as her father served in the military. She was thirteen when the family settled in Camdenton. She was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1968. She worked as an accountant for several marinas and other businesses in the lake area. She retired as a tax preparer from H&R Block. In her spare time, Kathy loved being outdoors. She enjoyed time spent in her flower gardens and had a knack for growing beautiful things. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mistwood Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
