Sarah K. Danuser, daughter of Verl Kenneth and Eula Alice (Jeffries) Edwards, was born March 27, 1948, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the age of seventy-seven years, nine months, and eleven days.

On September 28, 1963, she was united in marriage to Donald Paul Danuser. To this union, four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Melissa Dawn Beck; and the father of her children, Donald Paul Danuser.

Kathy is survived by her children: Craig Danuser and wife Julie, and Shawn Danuser and wife Lori, all of Montreal, Missouri; and Kassy Patterson and husband Troy of Mayflower, Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Bailey Danuser, David Sanford, Justin Sanford, Travis Sanford, Tyler Danuser, Wyatt Danuser, Brandon Beck, Derek Beck, Mya Danuser, Kayden Patterson, Kenzie Patterson; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Hillhouse of Grove, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kathy was born in Richland and grew up in Stoutland, Missouri. Following her marriage to Donald Paul, they made their home in Kansas City for a time before returning to the area, where they started D&S Excavating and Linn Creek Metal Products. In 1989, they founded Whitetail Trophy Hunt.

Kathy was saved and baptized at an early age and was of the Methodist faith, later attending area Baptist churches.

In her younger years, Kathy was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos with her sister, Peggy. Kathy cherished time spent with her family, especially Sunday family dinners, watching her chickens, and tending to her garden.

Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, as well as a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many memories she created for her family and friends.

Per Kathy’s wishes, there will be no public services and a private family burial will take place at a later date in Freedom Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
