Larry Junior Shadrick, son of Eugene and Daisy Lee Webster Bell, was born, January 4, 1947 in Camdenton, Missouri. He departed this life, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years, five months and twenty-eight days.
On May 23, 1974 in Tunas, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mary Hunter and to this union they were blessed with two sons. Together they shared fifty-one years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Daisy Bell; his father Olan Shadrick; his daughter-in-law, Ursula McGuire; and three brothers-in-law, Ronnie Roark, Jerry Rushin and Arlen Mondy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Shadrick of the home; two sons, Shane Shadrick and Pam, Marty McGuire and Bobbi all of Camdenton, Missouri; three grandsons, Colby Shadrick and Courtney of Osage Beach, Missouri, Austin McGuire of Kansas City, Missouri, Dylan McGuire of Camdenton, Missouri; his granddaughter, Sidney Winn and Logan of Linn Creek, Missouri; his great-granddaughter, Collyns Shadrick; six sisters, Donna Roark of Eldon, Missouri, Doris Rushin of Kansas, Janet Mondy of Arkansas, Shirli Jo Shadrick, Paige Teague and Bonnie Laws all of Iowa; he also survived by his fur friends, Rooster the beagle and farm cats, Walter and Kansas City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Larry was a lifelong resident of Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School. He proudly served his country in the National Guard for six years. Larry was co-owner of Marty’s Marine for many years before his retirement.
In his spare time, he loved tournament fishing. Larry and Mary traveled to Texas where they would spend countless hours fishing, and traveled to Brazil to go Peacock Bass fishing. He was the winner of the American Royal BBQ cook-off and truly enjoyed playing his guitar.
He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2025 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
