Michael Harry Spackman, 49, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away on April 28, 2026.
Born on November 29, 1976, in Groton, Connecticut, Michael lived a life defined by dedication, humor, and deep love for his family. He was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and later attended technical school for EMS, always carrying a strong desire to serve and support others.
Michael built a career marked by hard work and leadership, most recently serving as a warehouse supervisor and production manager for Laker Fishing Tackle in Camdenton, Missouri. He took pride in his work and the people around him, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of working with him.
Above all else, Michael loved his family. He found joy in the simple, meaningful moments—working in the yard, riding his motorcycle, watching movies and football, and listening to music. He especially loved Pink Floyd, whose music was often the soundtrack to his life. Michael had a fun-loving spirit and a way of bringing laughter and warmth to any room.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Spackman as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Lorna; his children, Meghan, Marisa (Benjamin P.) Zach (Shelby S.), and Nathan (Amber S.); three grandchildren, Freya, Anthony and Angelica; his mother, Christine; his siblings, Christy, Nate, and Heather; and several nieces, nephews who will continue to carry his memory forward.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 19, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. For those not able to attend, if you would like to make a donation in his name, please direct your donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
Michael will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, laughter, and the strength he gave to those around him.
