Patricia Jo Dampier, daughter of the late John Perry & Mary Rose Ann (Richmond) Alexander, was born on November 30, 1939 and departed this life on September 10, 2025. At the time of her passing, Pat was eighty-five years, nine months and eleven days of age.
Pat was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Bert Dampier; son, Kevin Dampier; and two siblings, David Alexander and Barbara Rumberg.
She is survived by three children, John & wife Lesa Dampier, Tom & Lois Dampier, and Jason & wife Connie Dampier; siblings, Mary Kahre; and eleven grandchildren.
Pat was born, raised and attended school in Buffalo, Missouri. On April 7, 1956, Pat was united in marriage to Bert Dampier, together they would share sixty-four years of marriage until his passing in 2020.
Throughout her working years, Pat worked from home as a domestic supervisor and would later work as a nurse.
In her free time, Pat truly loved spending her time caring for anyone in need; whether that be through nursing, volunteering where needed and taking care of her friends and family. She also enjoyed playing bridge, travelling & going to the casinos with Bert, and cooking & hosting for her family gatherings. She had an absolute green thumb, she could grow anything in her garden, literally finding a four leaf clover wherever she went.
Pat was gifted the ability to be a caretaker, for anyone in need. She did not envy this ability, however she truly found peace and comfort knowing she could be there for anyone who called.
Pat was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and a caring neighbor & friend. Together we celebrate her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
