Phyllis Ann Trulove, daughter of Don Edward and Ruth Caroline Freisthler Morelock, was born, December 31, 1955 in Sydney, Ohio. She departed this life, Sunday, July 26, 2026, in her home with her family by her side, in Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of seventy years, six months and twenty-six days.

On July 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Robert Trulove, and they spent fifty-four wonderful years together as they traveled the world with Bobby’s career in the Army. They resided in Alaska for several years, before settling in Macks Creek, Missouri. To this union they were blessed with two sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant sister, Janet, sister Donna Young and niece Melissa.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Trulove of Macks Creek, Missouri; two sons, Shawn Trulove of Alaska and Forrest Trulove of Macks Creek, Missouri; two granddaughters, Aurora and Olivia; one great-granddaughter, Iris; her siblings, Gary Morelock and wife Sharon, Janice Clopp and husband Carlon, Michael Morelock and Jill Morelock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Phyllis was a faithful member of the Branch Assembly of God Church in Branch, Missouri, where she gave generously of herself in many ways. As Bobby said, “Phyllis knew God.”

In her spare time, Phyllis loved going to thrift shops and yards sales. She enjoyed her time at water aerobics and the friends she had made there. Westerns were her favorites to watch on television, especially the movie Lonesome Dove. The time she treasured the most, was time spent with her family.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
