Raymond Clinton Lee

Raymond Clinton Lee, son of Emmett and Nellie Lee, was born, August 13, 1933 in Lynchburg, Missouri. He departed this life, June 3, 2025, in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years, nine months and twenty-one days.

On July 19, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Anna Thompson. Together they shared fifty-five years of marriage until her passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna; brother, Loren Lee; sisters, Fay Dorris and her husband Charlie, and Naomi and her husband Ed.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Cook and husband, Wade, of Salem, Missouri; grandchildren, Alexis Kulik and husband Martin, of Salem, Missouri, Nathan Cook and wife Mackenzie of Salem, Missouri, and Nathan Wolfe and girlfriend Kelsey of Licking, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Aiden Mathess, Asher Carter, Arissa Carter, Rilyn Cook, and Cooper Cook; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Raymond was raised in Lynchburg, Missouri and went to school in Plato. After his enlistment in the United States Marine Corp, he worked at IBM for several years as a service technician in St. Louis. Raymond and Anna moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1967 where he started his own very successful construction company, “Lee Construction.” Raymond operated it until he retired in 2007.

Raymond served on the Camdenton Park Board and was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Camdenton.

In his spare time Raymond loved fishing, bird watching and feeding wild animals. He was an amazing carpenter and electrician.

He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
