RENE WOLBERG Laureen "Rene" Wolberg, age 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015 in her home, secure in the love of God and her entire family. She was born on October 7, 1960 in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Robert and Mary Wolberg, and Rene attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and Trinity High School. One of Rene's greatest passions was her love for animals. In addition to being a vet technician for the past ten years for Dr. Tom Williams of Lake Hills Veterinary Clinic in Osage Beach, she donated her time to Blue Moon Sanctuary, housed and cared for stray cats, and helped so many families of our "furry children" through pet sitting. Her other passions include various styles of art, gardening, flowers, and music. She played a mean cribbage game, was an avid crossword puzzle worker, a fabulous cook, and she had the talent to build her own outdoor deck and tile stairways. Her creative mind and spirit shines through her beautiful artwork, and is how she liked to share a part of herself with others. Rene's creativity began as a young girl working for Christy Floral in Dickinson. She moved to Arizona for a few years to work as a nanny, spent several years in Maryland and then joined her Denver family, where she worked as a Technician in Optometry for nineteen years. In 2004 she relocated to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri to join her sisters, Marilyn and Denise, where she made this her home for the past ten years and pursued her love for animals as a Veterinary Technician. Rene was a bright light and joy to so many people and her spirit will always be a part of those who met her. Rene was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Wolberg; a brother Robert “Bobby” Wolberg; and a nephew Kelly Wolberg; all of Dickinson North Dakota. Rene is survived by her brothers and sisters; Ronald (Corinne), Wayne (Neice), Dennis (Elaine), Dale (Kristine), Alvin (Diane), Marilyn (Keith) Rustand, Kenneth (Shelly), Gary (Andrea), Colleen (Kerry) Kramlich, and Denise. Rene was a most loving aunt to her thirty-one nephews and nieces, and seventeen great-nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations if you wish to Rene's favorite charity, Blue Moon Sanctuary.
