Stephen Christopher Sorensen Stephen Christopher Sorensen, son of Roger Sorensen and Helen Snead Renfro, was born, March 20, 1962 in Denver, Colorado. He departed this life, Wednesday morning, July 13, 2016, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty-four years, three months and twenty-three days. On April 20, 2012 he was united in marriage to Suzanne Davey. Together they shared four years of marriage He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Sorensen, his brother, Scott Sinner and his paternal grandfather, John Snead. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Sorensen of the home; his children, Cheri Welsh and her husband Aaron, Stevie Sorensen and partner Elizabeth Sprenkel and Chris Sorensen all of Linn Creek, Missouri, Jessica Teer and partner Sam Willcut and Taylor Teer and wife Jessica all of Camdenton, Missouri, Tyler Sorensen and Jeremie Sorensen both of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren Corbin, Zoie, Bentley, Piper, Caleb, Connor, Chase, Lexie, and Brayden; his mother, Helen Renfro and husband Jim of Costa Rica; his siblings, John Sorensen, Eric Sinner and Amie Vonderschmidt and husband Steve all of Linn Creek, Missouri; his sister-in-law, Shelah Sinner of Camdenton, Missouri; the mother of his children, Connie Sorensen of Linn Creek, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Stephen was raised and attended school in the early years in Colorado till they moved to Camdenton in the mid 70”s. He completed his GED with the record score in the state of Missouri. He worked hard in the oil fields in North Dakota till an injury forced him to retire. Stephen made a profession of faith at a Billy Graham Crusade that was being held at the old J-Bar-H Rodeo grounds. In his spare time, he loved to ride his Harley Davidson and travel. Stephen was quite a historian. He was a die hard Kansas City Chief’s fan and he enjoyed reading. The things that brought him the most joy though, was socializing and being with his family and friends. His family and friends will treasure his smile and the many memories he has blessed them with and knowing that he is watching over them. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
