Valerie Ann Delaney, daughter of the late Vivian Aubrey & Pamela Elizabeth (Newcombe) Roberts, was born on October 13, 1957, and departed this life on March 13, 2026. At the time of her passing, Valerie was sixty-eight years and five months of age. 

Valerie was preceded in passing by her parents; and one brother, David Roberts.

She is survived by her husband, James Delaney; three children, Jennifer Stewart, Chris Stewart and Savannah Fitch; four siblings, Lynn Roberts, Margaret & husband John Starr, Victoria Roberts and Melissa Jeg; grandchildren, Trenton, Kylie, Jenna, Nehava, Delilah, Ares, and Angelo. In her passing, Valerie leaves behind many friends who will all truly miss her. 

Valerie was born in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, Canada and at an early age the family moved to Pennsylvania where she was raised and attended school. Following her schooling, the family moved to Washington State, where she began her career as a caregiver.  

On April 22, 2009, in Reno, Nevada, Valerie was united in marriage to James Delaney.

In her spare time, Valerie enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, playing various games on her phone, fishing with her son, Chris, going to the casino and above all she enjoyed going out to eat at various places around the lake, especially RJ's in Camdenton. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
