William 'Bill' Cretton

BILL CRETTON William Maron Cretton, son of William Other and Dolores Lillian Stanbridge Cretton, was born, June 22, 1967 in Evanston, Illinois. He departed this life, Friday, February 10, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, Lebanon, Missouri at the age of forty-four years, seven months and nineteen days. On December 15, 2007 in Lebanon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Stacy Jo Morton. Together they shared four years of marriage He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, John Allen Cretton; paternal grandparents, Julius and Bernice Cretton and maternal grandparents, Tom and Jenny Stanbridge. Survivors include his wife, Stacy Cretton of the home; his mother, Dolores Cretton of Eldridge, Missouri; a brother, Dumont Cretton, Sr. and wife Susan of Eldridge, Missouri; two sisters, Louise Battinus of Vernon Hills, Illinois and Dorice Clark of San Antonio, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bill was raised in Camdenton and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1985. He worked as a dump truck driver for APAC, was a meat cutter for Save-A-Lot and a deliveryman for Coke. He has lived at Eldridge for the past nineteen years and was currently employed by Powder Paint Company of Lebanon. He was a lifetime member of the American Hunting Club and a member of the Elks Lodge. Bill was confirmed in the Lutheran Church as a child and was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Camdenton. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, home repair and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
